Waiting for the new Casina Settarte....
We are preparing a new space very close to the old Casina! It will be ready - we hope- in 2 years!


This summer Casina Settarte and his activity will be hosted in an amazing venue, called "La luna nel Pozzo". The place is very similar to Casina, more confortable and with a lot of spaces for dancing and relaxing. You can see the website:  http://www.la-luna-nel-pozzo.com/index-uk.htm

Temperature: in Apulia is summer from May to October, and it rarely rains: temperature can be quite hot but in Itria Valley a fresh breeze allows to dance during the day. At night climate gets colder: bring a sweater!

Arrival/Departure: We use to have a pick up appointement at the station of Ostuni, the closest village, in the afternoon of the DAY BEFORE THE WORKSHOP , and we drop participants at the same station THE MORNING AFTER THE LAST DAY OF WORKSHOP (NOT BEFORE 11AM) . So try to organize your trip in way to fit in this schedule! If you have an other schedule,  you can call a taxi that can drive you at "La luna nel Pozzo" from the station of Ostuni. Please tell us in time and we'll give you all the information you need.

Meals: Apulian cooking and food is tasty and natural in the same time: "orecchiette"(fresh hand-made pasta), focaccia (kind of pizza), mozzarella and other fresh cheeses, fishes and various vegetable and fruit from the area, olive oil and wine produced in Itria Valley... Meals are mainly vegetarian, but we also can have fish or meat dinner, depending from the group. PLEASE TELL US IN ADVANCE IF YOU HAVE ANY ALLERGY TO PARTICULAR FOOD.

We have a cook helping preparing dinner, and lunch is prepared by participants, in group of 3 persons a day.

Free time: the beaches are 20 min. far by car and all around villages as Ostuni, Martina franca, Cisternino, Alberobello are well known for the remarkable beauty of their architecture (Romanesque and baroque style). You must have a walk in the old historical parts of these villages!
